The JRCLS Women In Law Pre-Law Event is aimed at informing and inspiring prospective law students about the lifelong value of a legal education, and connecting prospective law students, current law students, and law graduates/attorneys. The event will include dinner, networking, and a panel discussion featuring inspirational women attorneys sharing how their legal training has enriched their lives. 

Aligned with the broader mission of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, members of Women In Law affirm the strength and unique contributions of women of faith in the practice of law, legal education, and the broader legal community.

Who is invited?

• Undergraduate students from any university or college
• Current law students from any university or college
• Attorneys and law school graduates from any law school

When is the event? October 1, 2025, from 6:00* - 7:30 pm

*Optional tours of BYU Law School offered from 5:00 - 5:45 pm. See schedule below for more information.

Will CLE credit be offered? Pending approval from the Utah State Bar, up to 1 hour of Continuing Legal Education credit* will be offered for attorneys seeking CLE credit from the state of Utah.

How much does it cost to attend?

• $0.00: Current undergraduate and law students
• $10.00: Attorneys and law graduates who are not seeking Utah CLE credit
• $20.00: Attorneys seeking Utah CLE credit

6:00 - 6:30 pm: Dinner & Welcome from JRCLS Women in Law Committee
