About this event: 

Held on October 2 - 3, the 2025 Leadership Conference of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society brings together international leaders of the Law Society in an engaging, educational, and spiritually-uplifting experience to learn from each other, gain valuable leadership training, and improve their ability to serve in their communities.  

This year's keynote speaker on Thursday evening will be Kim B. Clark, NAC Professor of Business at BYU's Marriott School of Business; former president of BYU-Idaho; former dean of Harvard Business School; and emeritus General Authority Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

In conjunction with the 2025 Leadership Conference, the JRCLS Women In Law Committee is hosting a Pre-law Event on October 1. To learn more about the pre-law event, click here.

Invited attendees: 

  • Area Leaders: Chairs and Area Leadership Team Members
  • Chapter Leaders: Chairs, Chairs-Elect, and Board Members
  • Global Chapter Chairs
  • International Committee Leaders: Chairs and Members 
  • Section Chairs
  • Students: Chapter Chairs and Student Board Members

All conference sessions will be held at the Aspen Grove camp facility in Aspen Grove, Utah, located northeast of Provo, Utah. Driving Directions to Aspen Grove

Basic Schedule: The conference schedule will be updated periodically.

Lodging: Conference attendees are responsible to arrange their own housing before, during and after the Leadership Conference. 

Housing at Aspen Grove: Limited housing will be available for an additional fee on a first come first serve basis.

  • New for 2025! Rooms will be available for both the nights of Wednesday, October 2, and Thursday, October 3!
  • Check-in will begin at 7:00 pm on October 2. No early check-in. No stay extensions.
  • Room charges will be based on the number of occupants.
  • Leadership Conference guests wanting to book a room at Aspen Grove will be given the option during the conference registration process.

Transportation: Conference attendees are responsible to arrange their own transportation before, during and after the Leadership Conference.

On-site Translation Services: Spanish and Portuguese language translation will be available for all plenary sessions of the conference.  

Attending the Leadership Conference for the first time? If you are a Law Society leader attending the Leadership Conference in 2025 for the first time, we invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 1, for tours in Salt Lake City and at the BYU Law School in Provo, Utah. Need an invitation letter to attend the Leadership Conference? Leaders approved by their Area Chairs to attend the conference can request an invitation letter. To learn more, click here.

Need financial assistance to attend the Leadership Conference? 

  • Attorney leaders: UPDATE! At this time, all available stipends have been allocated so any applications received will be added to the travel stipend waitlist. If funding becomes available and your application is approved, you will be notified. To apply for the stipend and be placed on the waitlist, click here.
  • Student chapter leaders should contact Jenna Crowther, Student Board Chair, to discuss financial assistance needs at jenna.crowther@law.byu.edu.

Need to cancel your reservation?  Refunds for conference registrations and Aspen Grove room reservations will be available if requested by September 24, 2025.  No refunds will be issued after this date.
