About this event

With the conference theme, "UNO," the 2025 J. Reuben Clark Annual Conference, held March 6 - 8, 2025, will be a unique opportunity for attorneys and law students of faith from across the world to gather at the Mexico City Temple Square complex to learn about how members of the Law Society can use their legal training, expertise and experience to create more unity within their communities.   

Basic Conference Schedule: English  Español The conference schedule will be updated periodically. 

Session InformationSessions will discuss pro bono legal service, humanitarian service, refugee assistance, religious freedom, interfaith efforts, and professional excellence. Unique to this conference will be a Mexican cultural event, an optional pre-conference excursion to a historic castle, and an on-site service project for all attendees and registered guests. Elder Hugo Montoya, General Authority Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Mexico Area President, will provide the fireside address on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Pricing: Registration pricing is based on category of attendee: attorney; law student; and guest. See registration pages for details. Registration prices double after February 1, 2025.

Continuing Legal Education: It is anticipated that up to eight (8) Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours will be approved by the Utah State Bar. Attendees from other jurisdictions will be provided with session materials for use in applying for CLE credit from their respective state bar associations. 

Language Services: All plenary sessions, and sessions held in the main meeting room, will be available in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Breakout sessions will be available in English or Spanish.

Housing: Attendees must make their own housing arrangements. Recommended housing options:

  • Hilton Mexico City Airport: Located inside Terminal 1 of Benito Juárez International Airport. Free transport service from Airport Terminal 2. 
  • Camino Real Hotel: Connected by pedestrian bridge to Terminal 1 of Benito Juárez International Airport. Free transport service from Airport Terminal 2.
  • Temple patron housing at Mexico City Temple Complex: Limited vacancy; dorm-room style housing (bunk beds with 4 single beds per room, or 2 full-sized beds per room); community bathroom; bedding provided; guests must bring their own towels, soap, and all toiletries. No restaurants or food for sale on-site. For more information on pricing, availability and to request a reservation, contact Moises Contreras at moy1298@hotmail.com.

Ground Transportation: For attendees who sign up in advance, the JRCLS will provide complimentary shuttles to the Mexico City Temple Square complex on March 6, 7 and 8, 2025, from the the following locations: Benito Juarez Airport; Courtyard Marriott Mexico City Hotel; Hilton Mexico City Airport Hotel; Camino Real Hotel; Fiesta Inn Plaza Central Aeropuerto.

In early February, 2025, registered conference attendees will be notified via email when the shuttle sign-up portal is open. Attendees staying at other locations need to make their own ground transportation arrangements.

Optional Excursion to Chapultepec Castle: The JRCLS is hosting an optional pre-conference excursion to the historic Chapultepec Castle on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
