Please join us for our Annual Dinner featuring Judge Thomas B. Griffith (ret.) and the presentation of the 2025 J. Reuben Clark Award to W. Douglas Easton on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport. Registration and reception begin at 6:15 p.m., with dinner and the program to follow at 7:00 p.m.
Judge Griffith was appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit by President George W. Bush in 2005. He retired in 2020 and now serves as Special Counsel at Hunton Andrews Kurth and a Fellow at the Wheatley Institution. In 2021, President Biden appointed him to the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court. A graduate of BYU and UVA Law, Judge Griffith was previously a litigation partner Wiley, Rein and Fielding, served as Senate Legal Counsel during the Clinton impeachment, and was BYU’s General Counsel. He has also participated in rule of law initiatives in Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
