Planning an event for JRCLS chapters is now easier due to updated planning guides and resources available to all Law Society members, many of which are found under the “Resources” tab on jrcls.org.
Unveiled at the 2024 Leadership Conference, the Religious Freedom Event Planning Quick Reference (Español, Português) provides key information to assist leaders in planning a religious liberty event. Whether you are wanting to host an informal lunch meeting with a small group of colleagues, or a four-hour workshop on religious liberty topics with local religious leaders and community members, the Religious Freedom Event Resources page provides leaders and members tools to help plan an event that best meets your chapter’s needs and goals.
The JRCLS also has other tools to assist in event planning. The Service Event Planning Checklist provides a simple guide to plan a service activity to help neighbors with legal or humanitarian needs. Other resources are available under the Service tab on the website.
The Fortify the Family Workshop Resources provide lessons and planning tips to organize one or multiple events on strengthening families of all types. These guides are currently available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
If you are looking for additional inspiration on service events, check out the JRCLS Chapter Service Idea Slides from the 2024 Leadership Conference. These provide information on recent events held from various chapters around the world and can inspire you in planning your chapter’s next event.
