On November 9, 2024, the Peru Lima Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society celebrated its 20th anniversary with a lunch and horse race at the Jockey Club Racecourse in Monterrico. With the participation of more than 45 lawyers and guests, the event was chaired by Patricia Diaz Gamonal, current chapter chair, along with Jennifer Lee Herrera, chair-elect.
During the lunch, tribute was paid to the founding members of the chapter and those who have
been a fundamental part of the growth of the society in Lima, Peru. The event was an opportunity to reaffirm the values that have guided this chapter in its two decades of history, in which its members have promoted the rule of law, ethics, justice and community service.
The celebration continued with a Horse Race in honor of the "20th Anniversary J. Reuben Clark Law Society - Lima, Peru." This event offered a spectacular close to a day of camaraderie. Patricia Diaz Gamonal noted, "This anniversary reminds us of the importance of our mission and the community we have built . . . We deeply appreciate everyone who has been part of this journey and we remain committed to contributing to the development of a more just society."
