As part of the month of service of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, on May 25, 2024, the Cali Chapter of J. Reuben Clark Law Society provided a free legal clinic in a neighborhood called Colón. The event, which was advertised through social networks, aimed to provide legal advice to economically vulnerable people and strengthen their knowledge and protection of legal rights.
Ten lawyers provided legal advice to more than 30 people, providing free consultations on a variety of legal issues, including labor law, social security issues, business law, commercial law, civil administrative law, family law and criminal law.
The attendees expressed their satisfaction with the professionalism and usefulness of the
information received. They also emphasized that activities such as these allow more citizens to access justice.
