The inaugural East Coast Conference was held May 23 - 24, 2024, at the Founding Forward campus near Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and provided attorneys from the area an opportunity to network and learn together. Hosted by the North America Northeast Area under the direction of Area Chair Ginny Isaacson, the conference featured keynote speaker Randall Guynn, who discussed the history of the Kirtland Safety Society from a banker’s perspective and posed several questions about the legality of the banking institution and its demise. The conference also included panel discussions with Matthew McGhie, Jay Redd, and Kate Sookhoo on how to build and strengthen relationships, and with Reece Barker, Aaron Sims, Jake Kirkham and Michael Maxwell on Delaware corporate law. The conference concluded with a keynote lunch session where James J. Holman called lawyers and law students of faith to protect the rule of law and constitutional order. Joined by the 2024 Religious Liberty Fellows, conference attendees included attorneys from Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
