On June 6, 2026, a meaningful community outreach program was held at Panalian Elementary School in Maasin, Province of Iloilo, Philippines bringing together a strong coalition of organizations dedicated to service, compassion, and community empowerment.
The program offered a wide range of essential services, including legal aid consultations, a medical mission, distribution of school supplies and books, and free haircut services. These efforts were aimed at addressing the immediate needs of students and families while promoting access to education, health care, and basic welfare support.
A key driving force in the success of the initiative was the JRCLS Visayas Chapter, which played a central and highly active role in the coordination and delivery of services. Through its commitment to legal service and community engagement, JRCLS Visayas Chapter helped ensure that beneficiaries received meaningful legal assistance alongside the other vital services provided. The outreach program was made possible in collaboration with the USA Social Science Unit, the Rural Health Unit of Maasin, the Iloilo Metro Lions Club, and the Iloilo City Metro Leo Club, all of whom contributed their expertise and resources to serve the community effectively.
