In a brief yet meaningful get-together, members of the JRCLS Philippines Area – Northern Luzon Chapter recently found time to reconnect through a simple and spontaneous “kamustahan.” According to Atty. Lalaine Urbino, JRCLS Philippines Area Women in Law Chair, the gathering was born from a shared feeling that everyone needed a break having been weighed down by the pressures of work. With several of them already in Dagupan City, they decided to meet for a short and refreshing conversation.
Present during the gathering were Atty. Urbino, accompanied by her ever-supportive husband, Bishop Julius Urbino, together with Atty. Khyle Kate Aquino, Gretchen Garcia, and Gretchen’s daughter, Neytiri. Atty. Panfillo Dioquino, Jr. also joined the conversation virtually through messages while he was in Quezon City.
While the meeting began as a light and friendly catch-up over sumptuous Pigar-pigar, it soon evolved into a productive exchange of ideas. The group discussed potential collaborations moving forward and shared updates on legal aid outreach efforts in the area. The gathering served as a reminder that even simple moments of fellowship can spark meaningful initiatives and strengthen the bonds among members committed to service.
Indeed, what began as a casual conversation turned into an opportunity to reaffirm shared goals and continue the chapter’s mission of supporting communities through legal service and collaboration.
