"From Childhood Dreams to Changing Lives"
From a young boy in San Antonio, Quezon who once declared, “I want to be a lawyer,” Laurel Sia Vesliño has grown into a man whose life reflects perseverance, faith, and a deep commitment to service.
Despite not being academically decorated in his early years, Laurel stood out for something far more enduring—his generosity, courage, and willingness to help others. His journey took him through University of the East, where he earned a degree in Broadcast Communication and discovered his gift for public speaking. This talent led him to become a sought-after host in his hometown and beyond.
Laurel’s path was not without detours. He spent 15 years in the corporate world, building a successful career in the BPO industry while also establishing his own business. Through hard work and determination, he achieved personal milestones—building homes, supporting his family, and creating a stable life. Yet, the dream of becoming a lawyer never left his heart.
With faith as his anchor, Laurel finally took a bold step and pursued law. Along the way, he found strength and mentorship through the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, where he was reminded to trust in God and in himself.
His journey came full circle as he began using his talents and network to serve others. Through collaborations with organizations like the Mabuhay Deseret Foundation, Laurel helped lead a life-changing outreach in his hometown—providing free eye care, surgeries, and medical assistance to hundreds in need. For him, the true impact was not just in the services rendered, but in the hope restored.
Even as a law student, Laurel continues to use every platform—whether in leadership, community work, or even pageantry—not for recognition, but for purpose.
At the heart of his story is a simple yet powerful belief: true success is measured by the lives we touch.
From a childhood dream to a life of meaningful service, Laurel Sia Vesliño’s journey is a testament to faith, perseverance, and the quiet power of giving back.
