JRCLS–Philippines Northern Luzon Chapter Conducts Free Legal Aid and Legal Lecture in Dagupan

As part of the observance of the May Month of Service, the J. Reuben Clark Law Society – Philippines Northern Luzon Chapter successfully conducted its “Lift Where They Stand” Free Legal Aid and Legal Lecture in collaboration with Dagupan Philippines Stake. The activity served as a meaningful outreach initiative aimed at extending legal education and accessible legal assistance to members of the community.

A total of forty-five (45) participants from Dagupan City and neighboring municipalities attended the event and received free legal guidance on matters involving Small Claims, correction of entries in Philippine Statistics Authority documents, as well as Annulment and Declaration of Nullity of Marriage. Beyond the legal consultation and lecture sessions, the activity fostered an atmosphere of compassion, service, and community support, leaving participants informed, uplifted, and cared for.

The success of the program was made possible through the dedicated efforts and volunteer service of Atty. Lalaine Urbino, Atty. Nathan Baraoidan, Atty. Khyle Kate Aquino, Atty. Panfilo F. Dioquino Jr., Winz Jose, and Gretchen Garcia. Special recognition was likewise extended to Public Prosecutors Miraflor Saculles and Vendio Ventenilla for generously sharing their time, legal expertise, and commitment to public service.

Special appreciation is extended to Dagupan City Councilor Jose Netu Tamayo for gracing the occasion, as well as to the sponsors and supporters whose contributions helped make the activity possible.

The initiative stands as a testament to the organization’s continuing commitment to public service and access to justice, embodying the principle that meaningful service begins where one stands.
