On May 23, 2026, the JRCLS Metro Manila Chapter and JRCLS Student Chapter successfully conducted a Jail Decongestion Legal Aid Activity at the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City, in collaboration with volunteer lawyers and the Executive Director of the Legal Aid Society of the Philippines (LASP).
Through this meaningful service initiative, the team was able to assist a total of 119 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), providing legal aid and support in line with our shared commitment to access to justice, fairness, and compassionate service.
