As part of the 2026 JRCLS May Month of Service, the JRCLS Philippines Area – Philippines Mindanao Chapter successfully conducted “Babaye HIBALO-I ang Imong Katungod,” a Women’s Rights Legal Literacy Drive held on May 23, 2026, at the Brgy. Canicapan Covered Court in Canicapan, Clarin, Misamis Occidental.
The activity was organized for mothers, solo parents, women, and young girls in the community to help promote awareness of women’s rights, legal protection, and access to justice through legal education and community engagement.
We are grateful for the support and presence of Brgy. Captain Mario V. Gumapac and Brgy. Councilor Ken Varquez, who joined us during the event and supported this meaningful initiative for the community.
Through activities like this, JRCLS continues its commitment to service, empowerment, and strengthening communities through education and the rule of law.
