Test a Bevy Virtual Meetup event

Testing an event can be helpful for visualizing the attendee experience before hosting a live event. You can keep the test event hidden so it does not appear on public pages or send announcements to your members.

1. During event creation, select Test Event and check the Hide this event on public pages box. This prevents the event from appearing on public pages and prevents email announcements from being sent to your members.

2. Under Event Location, select Virtual.

3. To ensure immediate access to the test event, set the Start Time to your current time and select your current time zone under the Schedule & Agenda section.

4. Click Save Draft.

5. Go to the RSVPs tab, add a new ticket type, and set the quantity to at least 1.

6. Click Publish.

• Visit the event page. To join the Bevy Virtual event, you must have a JRCLS profile and be logged in to your account.
• If you do not already have a JRCLS profile, sign up for an account.
• Once you are logged in to your JRCLS account, return to the event page or use the event link and click Join to enter the Bevy Virtual Meetup session.
