Area, Chapter, and Committee chairs can send targeted emails to specific audiences through the Admin Dashboard.
1. In your Admin Dashboard, click emails.
2. Click the dropdown arrow under 'Audience'. Here, you can select which audience you'd like to target.
3. As an Area, Chapter, or Committee Chair, your primary audience type will typically be "Chapter Members or Event Chapter Teams."
Chapter Members: These are individuals who have joined your area, chapter, or committee by clicking the blue 'Join' button on your page.
Note for Area Chairs: Your dashboard can only email members and team members listed under your area page. You cannot email all affiliated chapter members from your area dashboard simultaneously. Each Area, Chapter, or committee is handled individually, focusing on members who joined those specific pages or groups.
Event Chapter Teams: These are members added to the Leadership Team, accessible via the dashboard under settings > team. This feature allows you to email all members listed under the team. You cannot select individuals to email; the feature is designed to email all team members at once. When selecting this audience, you also have the option to attach a corresponding event in the email dashboard.
Note: Adding someone to your Leadership Team automatically includes them in the chapter or area membership list.
When selecting these audiences, you may be required to select a corresponding event in the email dashboard.
