The JRCLS Women In Law Pre-Law Event is aimed at informing and inspiring prospective law students about the lifelong value of a legal education, and connecting prospective law students, current law students, and law graduates/attorneys. The event will include dinner, networking, and a panel discussion featuring inspirational women attorneys sharing how their legal training has enriched their lives. To secure your spot at this inspiring event, please register by September 22!

The Pre-law event will be held the evening before the 2026 JRCLS Leadership Conference begins and all conference attendees are welcome to participate.

Aligned with the broader mission of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, members of Women In Law affirm the strength and unique contributions of women of faith in the practice of law, legal education, and the broader legal community.

• Undergraduate students from any university or college 
• Anyone considering attending law school
• Current law students from any university or college
• Attorneys and law school graduates from any law school

When is the event? September 30, 2026, from 6:00 pm* - 7:30 pm

*Optional tours of BYU Law School offered from 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm. See schedule below for more information.

Event Schedule:

5:00 - 5:45 pm: Optional tours of BYU Law School. Meet at the 2nd floor (main) lobby of the BYU Law School, located in the J. Reuben Clark Building (JRCB) on BYU Campus.

5:45 - 6:00 pm: Event check-in

6:00 - 6:30 pm: Dinner & Welcome from JRCLS Women in Law Committee

6:30 - 7:30 pm: Panel discussion
