Add a Link to an Email

Want to share a PDF, Google Doc, event, or news item in your message? Add it as a link instead of an attachment. Here's how:

1. Click Emails in your dashboard.

2. Click New Email.

3. In the message box, type your content.

4. Wherever you want the link, type a word or phrase that describes it — for example, "2026 Chapter Recognition Guidelines."

5. Highlight that word or phrase, then click the link icon.

6. Paste your link.

7. Review your email.

8. Click Save.

9. Click Send.

Note: PDF attachments aren't supported. To share a PDF, upload it to Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive, set it so anyone with the link can view it, then add that link using the steps above.

Why? Attachments are one of the top reasons emails get flagged as spam, and they can pose security risks. Using a link instead helps your email reach inboxes and keeps things secure.
