The Volunteers Who Lead: Recognizing Area Chair Service and Looking Ahead

The J. Reuben Clark Law Society is made up of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time to support the Society and its many initiatives. In 2023, the Law Society reorganized its leadership structure, expanding from seven geographic regions to 23 areas. Each area is led by a volunteer area chair who oversees and supports the chapters within that area. With the creation of the Canada Area in 2025, the Society now consists of 24 areas.

Area chairs work closely with chapter chairs and other volunteer leaders to strengthen and expand the Society’s positive influence. Area chairs are typically called to serve three-year terms, and nine of the Society’s current area chairs will complete their service this year. We gratefully acknowledge the following chairs for their many contributions to the JRCLS and look forward to honoring them at the 2026 Leadership Conference:
