The Rio de Janeiro Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society held a pro bono event on October 11, 2025, at the “Nave do Conhecimento” (Spaceship of Knowledge), located in Parque Susana Naspolini, in Realengo. The event featured volunteer lawyers who provided free legal assistance in several areas of law, including Labor, Civil, Family, Consumer, Social Security, and Real Estate Law. The goal was to bring the community closer to accessible legal services and to promote the exercise of citizenship through guidance and information.
The initiative was marked by an atmosphere of warmth, learning, and faith in action, reflecting JRCLS-RJ’s commitment to service, religious freedom, and justice. The Society’s presence in the community strengthened bonds and opened doors for new social projects, reaffirming its purpose of uniting legal professionals around ethical and compassionate values.
