Mexico Hidalgo Chapter Extends Aid to Flood-Affected Communities

In response to devastating floods that struck parts of Mexico in October 2025, members of the Mexico Hidalgo Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society organized a humanitarian effort to support affected families. The floods, caused by days of intense rainfall, severely impacted several regions across the country, leaving widespread damage to homes, roads, and essential infrastructure.

In coordination with the Institute of Religion Pachuca for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, chapter members came together to collect food, clothing, and hygiene products for those in need. This coordinated effort ensured that aid reached some of the most isolated and heavily affected communities.

JRCLS members delivered the collected supplies to residents of the Sierra Otomí-Tepehua and Sierra Hidalguense regions, where community representatives gratefully received the assistance, expressing appreciation for the compassion and solidarity shown by the volunteers. The initiative reflected the Law Society’s commitment to service and community support, demonstrating how members can make a meaningful difference in times of crisis.

Through their actions, the Mexico Hidalgo Chapter exemplified the spirit of unity and service that defines the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, offering hope and relief to those rebuilding their lives after the floods.
