Law Society Members Assist Female Market Vendors in Barranquilla, Colombia

Members of the Colombia Barranquilla Chapter of the J. Reuben Law Society conducted a service activity with the women vendors of the Barranquilla market on January 25, 2025. With the free legal assistance of JRCLS members, the female vendors formed the Barranquilla Market Women Vendors’ Association and held its first meeting.  Law Society members also helped draft the association’s bylaws and provided instructions on how to register their new association with the city's Chamber of Commerce.  This registration will provide the vendors with useful legal tools for their progress and support as they continue their work in the Barranquilla markets.
