Dominican Republic Santiago Student Chapter Gives Lecture on Societal Rights and Duties

On May 6, 2026, members of the Dominican Republic Santiago Student Chapter organized a lecture to high school students on the topic, “Rights and Duties in Our Society.” The event, which was held at the Roberto Duvergé Night High School, located in Pastor Bella Vista, Santiago, helped senior students learn about civic education and social commitment among young people.

The presentation was given by Ivan Lopez, current chair of the student chapter, who addressed in a dynamic and reflective manner the importance of knowing and exercising rights, as well as fulfilling civic duties for the construction of a more just and organized society.

During the activity, the students actively participated, showing interest in topics related to social coexistence, respect for rules, and individual responsibility within the community environment.

The Santiago Student Chapter reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive education of young people, promoting learning spaces that contribute to the development of conscious, critical citizens committed to their environment.
