Colombia Cali Chapter Supports Children With the Dulce Esperanza Foundation

Members of Colombia Cali Chapter partnered with the Dulce Esperanza Foundation to help support the well-being of children during an event on November 17, 2025.  The initiative consisted of purchasing basic food items and donating used clothing so that Adiela Filigrana, the Foundation’s representative, could sell them and raise funds to sustain the meal program. Approximately 70 pizzas and soft drinks were shared with the children and an entertainer provided an afternoon of joy and fellowship for the children.

The Dulce Esperanza Foundation provides care and meals for between 30 and 45 children, ages 4 to 11, who live in one of the most vulnerable areas of the city of Cali, where many minors are exposed to situations of domestic violence, neglect, community insecurity, and risks associated with the consumption and sale of narcotics. The organization also offers occasional food assistance to elderly adults in the area through its “community table.”

This social effort was made possible thanks to the participation and commitment of the chapter members Patricia Marulanda, Laura Bustos, Roberto Caceda, Ana María Delgado, Harold Truque, and Mary Cruz, along with her husband, Christian Cardona. These dedicated members reaffirmed the spirit of service and community support that characterizes the organization.

The Cali Chapter continues to strengthen its commitment to the most vulnerable communities, promoting initiatives that generate social impact and hope.
